How Many Songs Are on Spotify, Apple Music and Other Platforms? (2026)
By SPACE Editorial Team. Updated September 30, 2026.
Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer and Qobuz each say on their own pages that they offer 100 million tracks or more. The table below shows what each platform states about its catalog and its users, with a link to the page where it says so. Where a platform does not publish a number, the table says so.
| Platform | Catalog, as stated | Users or subscribers | Sources |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spotify | over 100 million tracks Company Info page also lists 7 million podcast titles and 700,000 audiobooks. | 777 million monthly active users and 300 million Premium subscribers (quarter ended June 30, 2026) | Spotify For the Record, Company Info page Spotify Q2 2026 shareholder update, Form 6-K exhibit 99.1 (SEC) |
| Apple Music | over 100 million songs Apple announced the 100 million song milestone in its Newsroom on Oct 3, 2022 (https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2022/10/celebrating-100-million-songs/). Apple does not publish current Apple Music subscriber numbers. | Not published | apple.com Apple Music product page |
| Amazon Music | 100 million songs Figure refers to the Amazon Music Unlimited catalog. Amazon does not publish Amazon Music subscriber numbers. | Not published | Amazon Music Unlimited landing page (US): '100 million songs ad-free and on demand' |
| YouTube Music | over 100M songs, videos, live performances, and more The 100M figure mixes songs with videos and live performances, so it is not a pure track count. The subscriber figure combines YouTube Music Premium and YouTube Premium and includes trials. No newer official total was found. | 125 million YouTube Music and Premium subscribers globally, including trials (announced Mar 5, 2025) | YouTube Music Premium page (US) YouTube Official Blog, Lyor Cohen |
| Deezer | over 120 million tracks H1 2026 subscriber source: https://www.musicbusinessworldwide.com/deezers-direct-subscribers-grow-to-5-8m-in-h1-2026-but-total-subscriber-base-falls-to-8-9m/ . Daily deliveries (Deezer Newsroom): about 90,000 fully AI-generated tracks delivered per day, more than 50% of all daily uploads at peak in June 2026 (Jul 21, 2026, https://newsroom-deezer.com/2026/07/ai-music-exceeds-50-percent-daily-uploads-deezer/). Earlier: nearly 75,000 AI tracks per day, 44% of daily uploads, and 13.4 million AI tracks detected in 2025 (Apr 20, 2026, https://newsroom-deezer.com/2026/04/ai-generated-tracks-represent-44-of-new-uploaded-music/). Deezer does not state a total tracks-delivered-per-day number; the 50% share implies roughly 180,000 at peak, but that is our arithmetic, not a Deezer figure. AI tracks are 1-3% of streams. | 9.1 million total subscribers (Dec 31, 2025); 8.9 million total and 5.8 million direct subscribers (H1 2026, to June 30, 2026) | Deezer offers page, 'Compare all plans' table Deezer investor relations key figures page (9.1M); Music Business Worldwide reporting Deezer's H1 2026 results of July 28, 2026 (8.9M / 5.8M) |
| TIDAL | over 180 million tracks TIDAL does not publish subscriber numbers. | Not published | TIDAL About page: 'over 180+ million tracks'; site footer: 'over 180 million songs' |
| SoundCloud | over 400 million tracks Includes user uploads (DJ sets, demos, remixes), so not comparable with licensed-catalog counts. The soundcloud.com/company page states no numbers. | 40 million active creators and 40 million active listeners (as stated on page in Sep 2026, undated) | SoundCloud guide 'How to Promote Music on SoundCloud' (soundcloud.com) Same SoundCloud page |
| Qobuz | over 100 million songs | 1.2 million monthly active users (FY2025, published Jun 16, 2026) | Qobuz Discover page (US) Qobuz press release, 'Qobuz Delivers 45.7% Revenue Growth in 2025' |
| Pandora | Not published Pandora's About page (checked Sep 2026) states no catalog size, and no official current track count was found. MAUs fell 7% year over year, from 42.7M. | 39.8 million monthly active users; about 5.6 million self-pay subscribers, Pandora Plus and Premium (June 30, 2026) | Catalog SiriusXM Q2 2026 earnings release (Form 8-K, SEC) |
Why these numbers are hard to compare
Platforms count differently. Some figures include videos, live recordings or user uploads, and none of them say how many tracks are ever played. A bigger catalog also means more competition for listening time, which is one reason income from older tracks varies so much.
If you own recordings on these platforms, estimate your streaming income from your own statements, or read how platforms pay.
